I’ll admit, I am in love. My love affair with the Tag Monaco watch started some years ago. A friend of mine got engaged, and his fiancee bought him a Tag Heuer Monaco watch. When I saw it I was hooked, with its precision engineering and classic design, from that point on I decided that one day, I would own a Tag Monaco watch. On my 40th birthday I bought myself a black faced, Tag Heuer Monaco with black crocodile strap. Whenever I look at my watch thee is something life affirming for me. From that moment on the watch was assured a place in the list of classic iconic watches. The original design has little changed over the years, so you know that if you a buying a TAG Monaco watch, you are buying a design that is timeless, which it should be when you make that kind of investment. I know that when I hand down my watch to my son in 20 years, it will be as cool and iconic then as it is now.

My sister, at the same time I bought my watch, also bought a Monaco with diamond surrounded edge. This was a complete coincidence as neither of us knew the other one loved the TAG Monaco. Testament to our independent good taste I like to think.
