Audi A4 – The Dream Car

Audi, a subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, has produced a series of super luxurious executive cars. The German car manufacturer is perhaps the best selling luxury brand in India. Audi A4 was originally launched in late 1994 and it has now arrived at its fourth generation.

The A4 sedan was launched in India in mid 2008. Audi recently upgraded the A4 with better technology and style. Audi A4 car strikes the perfect balance between performance and efficiency.
The stylish super car shows off muscular exteriors along with luxurious interiors. The A4 possesses the typical Audi features like the large grille and long bonnet with a gently sloping roofline and angular LED headlights. The high-class interior of the A4 is roomy and luxurious. Audi A4 comes with 4 engines, 1 transmission and 2 fuel options. The petrol variant of Audi A4 has a 3.2 FSI tiptronic Quattro engine, which pumps out a power of 265 PS at 6500 rpm and a torque of 330 Nm at 3000 rpm. The 2.0 TDI multitronic diesel engine produces a maximum power of 140 PS at 4000 rpm and a peak torque of 320 Nm at 1750 rpm. Both the engines are tied with six speed automatic transmission.

The Audi A4 comes in 7 models which are – A4 Sedan, A4 Avant (wagon), A4 Cabriolet (convertible), S4 Sedan, S4 Avant (wagon), S4 Cabriolet (convertible), and RS 4 sedan. While the exteriors and interiors do not differ to a great extent, it is important to note that each model offers specifically different combinations of transmission and either front or all-wheel drive. The A4 is also offered in three levels – 2.0T Premium, 2.0T Premium Plus and 2.0T Prestige which differs in the additional comfort features.

The price ranges from Rs. 28.30 lakhs to Rs. 53.42 lakhs. The BMW 3-Series, Mercedes-Benz C-Class and Lexus IS 250 are its major rivals. The super rich Indian consumers who are on the lookout for style and splendour can consider of owning this dream car.
