2010 BMW X1 – Ready to Hit
The 2010 BMW X1 from the house of BMW is a compact sport utility vehicle. The new model will extend the present BMW sports car lineup, currently consisting of BMW X3, X5 and X6. The sports model is released as 2009 model vehicle.
The 2010 BMW X1 is designed based on the AWD BWM 3-Series touring model. The concept car of the model was shown at the 2008 Paris Motor Show. On the positive side of the car, it has more cargo space, semi command sitting position and high performance. The sports car has the storage space of 1350 liters. The other highlight features in the car include rear view camera, performance control and adaptive cruise control.
The sports car, 2010 BMW X1 is equipped with a 2.0 liter I-4 engine that can produce power up to 143 hp. The engine in the car is mated to a standard 6-speed manual transmission. The other optional engine to the car is a 6-speed automatic transmission. The other engines offered by the sports car include 2.0 liter I-4 engine that produces 170 hp, 2.0 liter I4 twin turbo diesel that produces 204 hp, 3.0 liter I-6 engine that produces 258 hp, 2.0 liter I4 diesel engine that delivers 143 hp and a 2.0 liter I-4 diesel model that produces 177 hp.
As far as the dimensions of the sports car are concerned, it has the wheel base of 2,760 mm. The length, width and the height of the car are 4457 mm, 1789 mm and 1535 mm respectively. The curb weight of the car is 1500 kilo grams and the model relates to BMW 3 Series version.
